A few weeks ago, we sat down as a family to watch "The Wizard of Oz". Since then, the boys have watched it a few times, and are now quoting lines. Samuel decided each member of our family played a role in the movie. Without further due, we now present "The Wizard of Oz" starring...

- Able to encourage and give hope
- Sees in others what God has already placed in them
Kendra and Katherine as....Dorothy and Toto
- Searching for home
- Puts others' needs first
- (Katherine) Young like Toto
- (Katherine) Sticks close
Travis as...Scarecrow
- Enjoys seeing others happy
- Has a good heart
- Resourceful
- Tenderhearted and sensitive
- Brave
- Probably not the quietest one in the room
- Brings a smile to others
- Tough when it matters
- Might have some fears (especially bugs)
So as these characters continue the journey in this story, one thing rings true in all of their hearts..."There's no place like home." Our eternal home one day will be with our Lord and Savior. Until that day, we long for the place God called our "home"...Ireland. It was during early morning prayer at a mission's trip in Ireland in 2006 that the Lord placed one word in Randal's heart..."home". Since that day, the Lord has set deep in our hearts a longing for this nation of Ireland that we call "home". We are believing to be "home" this summer!
